In this special workshop, Andy and Taras, two experienced body workers team up to show you the healing that’s available in your hands and how you can share that healing with others. You will learn simple but effective techniques to ease tension in the neck, shoulders, back, hips, legs and feet using Shiatsu and Thai Yoga Massage. No previous experience is necessary but you will need to be able to sit and kneel in comfort.
Shiatsu and Thai Yoga massage are not dissimilar to each other. Dynamic styles of massage/bodywork, they incorporate stretches and pressure to balance energy flow, release tension and bring about deep relaxation. Receivers typically lie on a futon or comfortable mat on the floor and wear loose clothing. Oil is not used, the treatment is dry.
