🎬🌟 Get ready for an unforgettable night of short film fun as All Mixed Up Productions proudly presents the ‘All Mixed Up Film Showcase’ in association with Colony, hitting Manchester on April 5th, 2024!
Founded by Kenton Thomas & Jamie Swaby during the pandemic, All Mixed Up Productions has been on a mission to weave together diverse production teams, bringing to life compelling stories from underrepresented communities. After years of hard work and dedication, the time has come to share their portfolio with the vibrant people of Manchester.
🎥 Brace yourselves for a captivating lineup featuring three original All Mixed Up shorts: "The Dealer," "Imagine If Black Boys Just Smiled At Each Other," and "The Patriot." But that's not all! Joining the showcase are two extraordinary contributions: an exclusive extended clip from Luke Oliveira-Davies' BBC Three documentary ‘Stranger in My Family’, and the mesmerizing short film, "Marcus," by the talented Joshua Reeves.
📜 As if that wasn't enough, the night will be enriched with performances by Young Identity poets, each intricately themed around the films on the roster.
🍿 And fear not, your taste buds are in for a treat! Indulge in complimentary snacks and drinks - we've got you covered. All you have to do is secure your tickets.
💰 Best part? All ticket sales go straight towards supporting the future endeavours of All Mixed Up Productions. But hey, if your pockets are feeling a bit light, no worries! We've got lower-cost and free ticket options available because we believe everyone deserves a front-row seat.
🌟 The All Mixed Up Film Showcase is a collaboration brought to you by the creative forces at COLONY CoWork, Jamie Swaby & Kenton Thomas of All Mixed Up Productions, and the talented Luke Oliveira-Davies of Polari.
