Are you craving to be close to nature and wildlife, no cars, no sirens, a nice long walk to stretch those legs AND be around lovely members of our community? Well guess what?
This is all possible without even coming out of zone 2/3 in London? Whhaaaaattt?! 😳
The route we have chosen this time is the longest linear nature reserve in the big smoke. Delightful 👏👏👏
It follows a former railway line connecting Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace, which opened in 1873. Its fame is now global as it often features on 'must do' lists for visitors from oversees and also a perfect way for Londoners to escape from the urban hullabaloo.
There are a wealth of natural delights to enjoy, with butterflies, hedgehogs, and foxes all known to populate the nature reserve, and two hundred varieties of wildlife known to bloom here and more importantly you will be amongst London's friendliest Lesbians around (as described by our members)
awww 🦊 🐿️ 🦔 🌳
It's about a 4.5 mile walk which is a nice decent length.
We will end in Alexandra Palace and take in those spectacular views across London whilst resting our little feet.
