As seen on the BBC, the Guardian and Diva magazine, Dandy is best known for combining the best of old school British drag with a modern drag king flare! Quick wit and cheesy pop songs. Plus one of the Draguates from our 2023 College for Kings - Phillopian Tube Unshackled! He’s letting loose, he’s being the man he was always supposed to be and he isn’t afraid to let it all hang out in the limelight. Prepare, it’s (sic) intents!

It wouldn't be right to even think of flamboyance without including George Micheal… well the nearest we can get that is: Georgeous Micheal is not an 80s superstar but he can be your Daddy Figure tonight. These days, he makes rare excursions back into the limelight from his semi-retirement villa in Club Tropicana, but mostly he can be found drinking cocktails by the pool and working on 'his art' (aka sexy lino prints and fanzines celebrating queer culture and history). XO is a drag king thing and poet. They were a finalist in man-up 2023 and since then have been performing in every accessible venue they can find (and some inaccessible ones too!) Their acts surrounding their own disability will make you laugh, make you cry, make you wonder if you shouldn't have laughed in the first place (you can! They are very funny)
