Join for any of these one-off workshops in the popular Writing to Uncover the Self series at The Create Space at St. Margaret's House.
On Wednesday July 3rd, 6.30pm at The Create Place we will have our final workshop this season. We will look at childhood stories, such as books we learned to read with and the fiction from our youth. We will think about how these narratives have served us, how they haven't, and how we might reclaim them into our lives. Bring a book from childhood if you want!
You can book through the St. Margaret's House website here: https://www.stmargaretshouse.org.uk/events/writing-to-uncover-the-self
Writing can unlock knowledge within us, helping us break free from a period of ‘stuckness’. And self-knowledge can unlock new ways of writing into complexity and realness.
Experienced writer and facilitator F. Zeeshan Choudhury hosts this workshop for writers of all experience levels.
- Each session will start with an exercise to unlock creativity and self-knowledge
- Resources are bespoke and exclusive to this course
- Zeeshan provides guidance so each participant has a chance to find what works for them.
- Then there will be time for writing, sharing and reflecting.
