Sarah Chew, Colum Findlay, Coggin Galbreath (aka Patti Boo Rae) and Critical Mass Theatre invite you to a preview sharing and cabaret fundraiser for our new musical …
MYSTERIOUS.
Quinn, the son of the most important woman in town, is Mysterious.
Being Mysterious (as the police and doctors call it) or Squint (as the kids call it) is NOT ALLOWED.
What does it mean to be Squint? Well, think superpowers, but lame.
When the new mayor in town, Fred Fredbish, announces a harsh anti-Mysterious agenda, Quinn runs away from home, and joins a ragtag group of Squint young people in a safe house hidden behind an out-of-order washing machine in a launderette on the wrong side of town. Loritz can copy voices. Ethel's fingers are electric. Squid has tentacles. Posy can take herself apart and put herself back together. And Jamie–well, with Jamie, it’s complicated. They live under the protection of 90 year old Gloria, who owns the launderette, minds her own business, and has a surprisingly detailed knowledge of homemade incendiary devices.
MYSTERIOUS is a musical about those who don't want to blend in, those who can't blend in, and those who choose to stand with them.

About our tickets 🙂
We want Mysterious to be accessible to all: as artists, we often can't afford to see work we would like to, and we want to be part of finding a solution to this.
However, this performance is also a fundraiser, the proceeds from which will help us keep making the show.
So, we've offered three fixed ticket prices, a pay-what-you-choose option, and a donation button in case you are feeling super generous. To be clear, you can pick what you want to pay, no questions asked, and you'll get the same experience whatever you pay; but you are in a position to pay a bit more, we would be extremely grateful. In doing so, you will be allowing an audience member less able to pay, to see our show, while not damaging our fundraising activities! Whatever you can pay, we are so excited to share our work with you.
Love, Coggin, Colum and Sarah xx
Building Accesibility
Le Monde, once indoors, provides an elevator and accessible restrooms, but do not have a ramp into the building. The venue has staff who will be on hand to help access patrons over threshold.
