GIN (Gay Indian Network) LGBTQ+ Indian & South Asian Network in the UK will be walking in London Pride Parade 2024.
We will have a group of 75 people walking together with flags and banners.
Please join us at 10.30 AM sharp at the Meeting Point.
You will need a Pride Parade wrist band to join us.
You can get a wrist band for the GIN group from us for £3.50 (including Outsavvy charge).
We will gather to meet for the Pride Event at 10.30 AM on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Street, W1 (opposite the side of Primark on Park Street).

Meeting time 10.30am We will gather to meet for the Pride Event at 11am sharp on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Street, W1 (opposite the side of Primark on Park Street).We may all meet in a slightly different location along Park Street, W1K 6AF .
You will collect your wrist band at the meeting point.
We will have GIN Organisers with you at the beginning of the march, through out the march and at the end of the march.
Parade Position- After forming up, we will all move as a group to our parade position which is Section D.
There is usually a waiting time once we are in position. It can last up to an hour if not more. This is beyond our control.
Flags for Parade- Please bring flags of India and the South Asian countries with you if you can.- Please bring LGBTQ flags with you if you can.- We will provide a few flags of India and LGBTQ flag for some people. We will also have a GIN Gay Indian Network Banner that will be carried in front of us in the parade
GIN T-Shirts, Clothing
Please come in your GIN T-shirts like last year. If you would like a GIN T-shirt, please contact Joshi. There is a charge of £10 for each GIN T-shirt (this can be waved for students and unemployed people that are marching with us).- If you are not wearing the GIN T-shirts, we encourage you to wear desi costume or something glamorous.- Wear comfortable walking shoes. The walking on the march will last about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Rotation-We would like to give everybody a chance to be in front of our group if they wish to. During the march, me and the volunteers would be moving around and rotating people.- Pride stewards will also be encouraging us to walk as quickly as possible. However, there is no rush and we are there to protest as well as celebrate.
Water- It will be a long warm day, please do bring some water with you.
