Gender, Sexuality & Anti-Colonialism in Palestine
Waiting List
This interactive training will critique intersectionality and examine gender and sexuality in relation to Palestine. By focusing on the roles of Israeli settler colonialism and Western imperialism in gender and sexual oppression, as well as looking at frameworks for resistance and liberation, this training goes beyond the pinkwashing framework to deepen our solidarity. Co-facilitated by Makan and partners from KOHL and co-developed with Palestinian scholars and activists.
About MakanMakan is a Palestinian led educational organisation dedicated to facilitating transformative learning experiences centred around Palestinian and intersectional issues through workshops, partnerships, and accessible online resources. Makan strives to provide a perspective that captures the history of the Palestinian struggle for liberation and the realities on the ground. Our aim is to support advocates as part of a community that is not only well-informed, interconnected, and empowered but also passionately committed to cultivating a future for Palestinians built on liberation and justice.
