Join figurative artists Meg and Tom for a creative and inspiring evening of life drawing set to music. All art materials included.
This in-person event will be held at Margate's iconic Off Licence Bar , Come mingle, drink and connect.
No prior drawing experience needed ! This event is designed to have fun and connect whilst developing your drawing through narrative and storytelling, combining observation with imagination, providing a place for the inventions of the mind to take hold and expand the possibilities of image making.
Through the use of a carefully constructed set, the life model will be set up in different scenarios to draw from, telling a story of the sublime to the mysterious. The class will begin with a series of quick, warm up poses, followed by longer poses with the model. There will be live drawing demos with Meg and Tom and they will offer tips throughout the class, so no previous drawing experience is needed.
The models will be in costume, a theatrical experience in of itself. Drawing clothed models using colour and a variety of media, music will play and the stage will be set. There will be a variety of poses. All levels welcome, including beginners.
Just bring yourself! No prior drawing experience needed! Art materials are all included in the price of the ticket.
Art class finishes at 9:30pm but feel free to stay and drink, listen to music and mingle till late.

Meg and Tom are both selling artists in London with First Class Degrees in Art as well as Masters in History of Art & Art Therapy.
