Solve-along-a-Murder-She-Wrote is a hosted screening of “Birds of a Feather” a classic episode of Murder, She Wrote, featuring games and audience participation, with special permission from NBC Universal Television.
Following sell-out shows in August and September at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern in London, Solve-along-a-Murder-She-Wrote is spreading its joyous celebration to the Brighton Fringe. Hosted by super-fan Tim Benzie, this interactive evening celebrates all things 80s television mysteries had to offer – contrived scenarios! No DNA evidence! Massive hair! Has-been guest stars!
Solve-along-a-Murder-She-Wrote is the perfect night for lovers of mystery novels and detective television, from Nancy Drew to Mary Beth Lacey, and a chance to show off your sleuthing skills in a fun environment.
Solve-along-a-Murder-She-Wrote is a 2-hour event featuring:
· A gift pack with your own JB paddle, to ‘ooh’ along to the clues
· A singalong to the theme tune with brand new lyrics!
· Move suspects towards a conviction using the Suspiciometer!
· Regular voting in the Whodunnit Polls, taken every ‘commercial break’
· A party popper group explosion for JB’s once-every-episode epiphany!
· A Cabot Cove quiz to test your knowledge of the town with the world’s least effective police department!
· Clips and biogs of the campy guest stars – ranked on the Fame-O-Meter!
· A raffle to support the orphans of Cabot Cove, with prizes including Murder, She Wrote mugs and keyrings!
Tim Benzie is a superfan of Murder, She Wrote, having watched the original series live when it was first broadcast, and now glued to the repeats on ITV3.
