Join us for an exciting afternoon celebrating POC queer film! We will be screening the critically acclaimed movie "The Handmaiden" at Hackney Picturehouse, followed by a social gathering. This event is dedicated for POC lesbians/dykes.

After the movie, we’ll head over to The Old Ship Inn (3 min walk away) to unwind, discuss the film, and enjoy some good company.

2:45 PM: Meet at Hackney Picturehouse
3:10 PM: Movie Screening Begins
5:45 PM: Move to The Old Ship Inn for Socialising

Accessibility:

The cinema screen will be on the ground floor. It is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets. There is also wheelchair space available in the screen. Please contact us on instagram (@LezGirlsCommunity) if you require this.
Hackney Picturehouse has given us access to a private meeting room if you feel overwhelmed and would like a quiet space
The Old Ship Inn is wheelchair accessible, however, there is no accessible toilet. But we will be happy to escort you to a nearby accessible toilet if you need.
