As part of Queer Art in Diaspora (Q.A.I.D), we are proud to present Dzifa.
A beautifully intimate drama that follows Esther and Chioma as they navigate the nuances of their relationship. They find themselves at a Ghanaian naming ceremony where they are invited to reconnect in a rhythmic celebration of diasporic Black queer joy.
Directed by the talented Savannah Acquah, this is a cinematic celebration of queer love that you won’t want to miss!!
🎤 Q&A Panel:
Join us for an exclusive Q&A session with director, Savannah Acquah, and members of the cast. This is your chance to hear first-hand insights into the making of Dzifa, the inspiration behind the characters, and what it means to tell stories from the intersection of Blackness, queerness, and diaspora.
