Philip will perform his latest work "A Soft Call for Attention" followed by a riotous Punk Rock set with pink suits.
Philip's work will focus on the meaning of his identity and offer the chance for the audience to question what beliefs they hold in the moment. A chance for connection, reclamation and understanding.
Embracing Identity is a cross-discipline exploration of indoctrinated and societal expectations of character, personality, beliefs, values and ageing in the creative frame and in life. Rather than focus on gender, this project seeks to show that the authenticity of our identities can be the declaration which joins us all. Rather than being a learned, unquestioned series of behaviours, our true identity can allow us to spot similarities & connections.
