Join us to make history with the first ever Pride Swim Big Dip at Brighton beach on Saturday 26th October at 2pm next to Sealanes. Please be there by 1.30pm for a safety briefing. This is the entrance to the swim site (to the left of Sealanes cafe area and next door where the beach volleyball area is).
The Big Dip, sponsored by our friends at Speedo will be opened by Olympic Swimmer and LGBTQIA+ activist Michael Gunning.
It is the last of a series of over 20 Pride Swims that have taken place across the UK, supported by London Marathon Events and Swim England.
With space for 200 participants to take a dip in the sea, we hope to make a huge splash by raising vital funds for Switchboard LGBTQIA+ Helpline.
There will be pre and post swim activities, including a beach clean with our friends from Surfers against Sewage and a post-event celebration at Sealanes.
All participants will get a specially designed Speedo x Pride Swim swim cap, a medal and a Speedo goody bag.
