Queer Clothes Swap

Got a gorgeous gown, some tremendous trousers or jazzy jewellery, a snazzy shirt or a fabulous frock lying at the back of your wardrobe? Want to swap them for something more your style? It’s time for your abandoned clothes to come out of the closet and mince down to our Queer Clothes Swap in Deptford. Getting some new threads is a great way to start off LGBT History Month.

We know that clothes swaps can be a lifeline for many LGBTQ+ people so please come and take part at Grandad’s Shed at Little Nan’s Bar in Deptford from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday 2nd February.

Even if you have no clothes to swap you can still come along for food, a drink and chat from 1pm to 5pm. It'll be great for networking.

Cocktails are around £8 and are fabulous.
Mocktails for £4 are also available as well as other soft drinks.

Rules:

Bring up to 10 items of any size that you wish to donate. Trousers, skirts, shirts, blouses, dresses, necklaces, hats, shoes etc. are all ok.
For hygiene reasons, please don’t bring underpants, tights, swimwear, earrings or piercings.
You’ll receive a token for each item that you bring which can be used to swap for another item.
Any clothing left over will be donated to local charities.
