Join us on the 14th of February, at KATAKATA Brixton for an evening of Black Queer & Trans artistry. We will screen “Tongues Untied” by Essex Hemphill, a landmark film that explores the intersections of Blackness, queerness, and identity.
The night will feature poetry inspired by Essex Hemphill’s cadence and style. Celebrating queer sensuality as a powerful force for resistance.
Through poetry we will explore how desire and revolution intertwine. After the film, we'll open up space for community conversations, deepening our collective understanding of sensuality's role in our fight for liberation.
