We are excited to invite you to the workshop: ‘Making Room; Reimagining the Queer Domestic’ with @everymouthneeds as part of Threadbare Collective’s Residency 2025 at Goldsmiths CCA on Sunday 9th Feb 2025 from 1-3pm.
Drawing from Phylis Birkby’s Feminist Architecture Workshops, this is a reimagined programme to consider what your Queer Architecture could look like!The session will begin with an introduction to the work of Phylis Birkby which will then be followed by a grounding exercise, a re-imagining drawing session and a relaxed discussion about thoughts and feelings on your drawings and notions of the queer home.The workshop will be led by the invited curatorial collaborators and partners: Every Mouth Needs Filling, (Elisha Fall @elishafall_ & Caitlin Fleming @flemboyant_flemingo)This is a re-imagining and materialising of what the queer domestic may look like.
