OPEN TO ALL!
Celebrate Women's History Month with the Filipino Domestic Workers Association UK!
Join us for karaoke and food on 29 March at Pelican House in Bethnal Green. All proceeds will be going to FDWA's rescue and campaigning work.
About FDWA:
Established in 2012, Filipino Domestic Workers Association UK is an organisation for and by Filipino women working as domestic workers in the UK. We rescue abused migrant domestic workers from their employers, and provide them with support and advice. We also strive to demand the return of the rights from the 2012 Overseas Domestic Worker Visa, including the right to change employer, the right to a minimum wage, and the right to settle in the UK. We raise awareness about the abuse and exploitation of domestic workers and campaign for the recognition of domestic work as work.
