Flesh, re-vesseled presents artist moving image works that centre the body and its myriad possibilities and limitations. Working with, through, and beyond the flesh vessel, these experimental films explore public sex ritual, surgery, diaspora, the archival, Traditional Chinese Medicine, domesticity, grief and pornography.

This screening is a showcase ahead of Queer East’s upcoming exhibition at QUEERCIRCLE this spring, also on the theme of embodied knowledges.

The Lineup

We strive to provide a physical environment that is accessible to all visitors. This includes:

Offering ground-level, step-free access to our spaces.
Offering elevator access to our project space located on the first floor.
Providing accessible restrooms for all genders on every floor of our venues.
Providing folding chairs or other forms of seating at every venue.
Welcoming assistive animal at our spaces and events.
Designating drop-off zones and parking spots within the Design District for visitors with disabilities on Phoenix Avenue which is 160 meters away.
Some in person and digital events can be offered with a BSL interpreter. Please contact us one week in advance of the event and we will try to accommodate this.
