From New York City with love… London-based members of Brooklyn events collective XOXA and dance label Fortune Signal are teaming up for Extracurricular: an inclusive and intimate new party concept centered on sounds of the underground.
Providing guest sets are Adonis resident Seb Odyssey and Orientate founder John Xie, who join Extracurricular’s own Panooc and D.D. Curry for a night of energetic house, tech house, bass, breaks & more on Cu Dalston’s powerful soundsystem.
From 8-10pm, we’re kicking things off with an Open Decks session and nightlife mixer/networking, DJs can apply for 30min sessions with optional side-by-side guidance from E1 Music Tutor Panooc. This opportunity is for up and coming local DJs, seasoned DJs trying out a new skill/genre behind the decks or producers just looking to test out some tracks on Cu’s 30Hz soundsystem. You must submit an application (visit @xoxanyc on IG for the link) to be chosen for the Open Decks. All applicants must already be familiar with the basics of DJing and bring your own USB and headphones.
