Announcing LEZFEST: a one day festival happening in south London on May 11th celebrating lez / bi / trans / queer culture.

VENUE + ACCESSIBILITY

We're lucky to be using a great community pub (with ballroom!), the Cavendish Arms, to host LezFest - alongside some outdoor events in nearby spaces. The Cavendish is a wheelchair accessible venue and is a short walk from Stockwell tube station and lots of bus routes. TICKETS

In order to make LezFest more accessible to those on a low income, we are using a sliding scale ticket price. You can choose what you pay based on your circumstances – you won’t be asked for any proof/ID. There are three ticket types for LezFest, plus earlybird discounts:

£18 (£16 earlybird) SOLIDARITY - If you feel able to pay a bit more for LezFest - get a Solidarity ticket. This will fund the cheaper tickets for those less able to afford it.

£12 (£10 earlybird) STANDARD

£3 (£2 earlybird) UNWAGED - If cost is a barrier to you coming to Lezfest, if you are currently receiving benefits, are unemployed, or have little/no expendable income, this might be the ticket for you.

We want this day to be accessible and welcoming for all - with no lack of fun for lack of funds! LezFest is being run DIY and not-for-profit. Please consider carefully which type of ticket to buy and if you aren't sure, email us at hellolezfest@gmail.com.

If you need a carer or assistant to access LezFest fully, they can come free. Just email us after you buy your ticket to tell us you need a +1 and we'll add the information to your booking.

There are precious few spaces that exist for our community (hello 36 lesbian bars worldwide). We need spaces run for us, by us. Where we can talk, learn, party and create. Where you don’t need to dance to meet other dykes (but you can if you want to).

As lesbians and queer people, we are stronger when we come together and support each other. That’s why LezFest is an explicitly bi, pan and trans friendly event with a programme that will reflect our diversity. 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, there’s never been a better time to celebrate our culture and build our community.

We are believers in DIY culture and spirit. If you wanna see something in the world, make it happen! We don’t know how to run a festival, but we’re doing it anyway. Wanna help? Got ideas? Email us: hellolezfest@gmail.com.

Age restriction: 18+ (indoor events), no age limit (outdoor events)

Terms & Conditions

This event is a trans-inclusive space and will adhere to an anti-discrimination and safer spaces agreement. Anyone found to violate this agreement won't be welcome at LezFest.
Some workshops may have limited capacity so we will ask for you to sign up (additional to buying tickets) to participate.
