PORTERS is a new small press. Our hope is to be an unpretentious and communal home for very fine new writing. To this end, our books are entirely handmade.
Following the launch of our first two books, Jimmy Chapman's Gilt and Harper Walton's Common Only In Name, we will be hosting an open mic event in London on the evening of 30 April.
Open mic slots will be first come, first sign-up; there will also be handmade copies of both books available for purchase, and a DJ set.
The event is free to attend, but capacity will be limited due to the size of the venue.
