Join us for a transformative workshop in collaboration with the Film & TV Charity, created to support trans+ filmmakers and allies across Film, TV, and the wider creative industries. In response to the increasing hostility towards trans lives, this event offers a dedicated space for care, solidarity, and collective resilience within the trans+ creative community.
Led and moderated by award-winning transgender filmmaker Mattia De Luca (she/her), founder of De Luca Films, the session will centre on wellbeing, empowerment, and navigating the creative sector as trans+ individuals. Mattia brings a wealth of experience to the conversation, with a filmmaking practice rooted in amplifying underrepresented voices and prioritising women and genderqueer collaborators in all aspects of production.
The workshop will feature peer-led discussions and open dialogue, focusing on practical tools, reflections, and shared practices that can support and sustain the community.
