Happy Bi+ Pride!
This Pride month, join us in a validating creative space for bi+ people to come together, reflect, share experiences, learn more and celebrate bisexuality — all while meeting fabulous new bi besties.
Who is this for:
This event is for absolutely anyone who identifies within the bi+ spectrum and wants to grow their bi-specific community: whatever label you use, stage of your journey, or gender identity — and is explicitly inclusive of trans and non-binary folks. (No artistic skills required!)
What to expect:
- You will be reflecting on what your bisexuality means to you and creating a personalised bi+ flag to take away that celebrates your unique self.
- There will be plenty of crafting materials, plus optional conversational prompts along the way to spark inspiration and connection.
- Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to show off and chat about your creations, while cementing new friendships.
Looking forward to the chaos!

Agenda:
14:00-14:10: Intro & arrivals
Introduction on why we’re here and the importance of bi+ community, as well as outlining the agenda and creative task, with notes on inclusivity and accessibility (folks are welcome to step outside at any point and participate as much or little in the activities). There will also be sticky labels for you to add your name and pronouns.
14:10-15:10: Flag-making
Moving into the reflective and therapeutic crafting part of the session, your challenge will be to create your own personalised bi+ flag (with bi and pan colours available).
You can annotate it with words and collages about what being bi+ means to you, to celebrate how there is no one way to be bisexual — all are valid! There will be bi-themed prompts and questions to spark your creative juices. Plus, plenty of crafting materials, from magazines to tissue paper, glitter, stickers and more.
You are welcome to do this solo or have a natter as your craft (and can take a break at any time).
15:10:-15:20: Comfort break
Light snacks will be provided.
15:20-15:30: Sharing creations
An opportunity for anyone who wants to speed-present their flag to the group — celebrating yourself is highly encouraged! Plus, an optional group photo and feedback form.
15:30-16:00: Mingling
This is your chance to share your work with more people one-on-one, chat and forge new friendships to take away with you.
