A Journey Through Sound: Queer Sound Bath and Touch Workshop
Join us for "A Journey Through Sound," an immersive workshop that uses the healing vibrations of sound to open, balance, and cleanse. This sacred space welcomes all queer identities to explore energetic connections, release blockages, and experience deep healing through the ancient practices of sound therapy and tantric principles.
Workshop Flow
Part One: Grounding & Connection
We begin by establishing presence and safety through gentle movement, partnered exercises, and mindful touch practices, we'll create a foundation of trust and embodied awareness. These opening activities help participants arrive fully into the space, connect with others, and prepare the body's energy system for the journey ahead.
Part Two: The Journey
Experience a guided voyage through your energy centres using the transformative power of sound. We will lead you with Himalayan singing bowls and gentle touch exercises, both together and then with a partner.
Working both individually and in thoughtfully paired exercises, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Identify where the energy feels blocked or stagnant
- Use resonant sound vibrations to release old patterns and emotions
- Activate and balance
- Experience the harmonic connection between your energy and others'
Part Three: Integrative Sound Bath
The workshop culminates in a full sound bath experience. Lie in comfort as you're bathed in the rich, healing vibrations of singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. This meditative soundscape creates the perfect container to integrate the energetic shifts from earlier practices, allowing deep restoration and renewal on all levels of being.
This workshop offers a rare opportunity to explore the intersection of queerness, tantra, and sound healing in a respectful, affirming environment. All bodies and experience levels are welcome.
