Margate Pride is relaunching our Inclusion Training Series with a Pride Month special! After being postponed earlier this year, we’re excited to bring this vital session back with a renewed focus — just in time for Pride Month.
Now more than ever, it’s essential to have the tools and language to advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. Whether you’re LGBTQIA+ yourself or an ally, this training will help you strengthen your awareness and take meaningful steps towards inclusion.
Led by Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion specialist Nell Andrew, this interactive, in-person session will cover:
- Key LGBTQIA+ terminology
- Common challenges faced by the community
- Practical approaches to inclusive practice
- Actionable steps for creating safer, more welcoming spaces
This session is ideal for community organisations, volunteer groups, and small local businesses looking to strengthen their inclusion efforts.
- Tea and coffee provided
- Session will be hosted at Droit House is a wheelchair accessible venue – find full access info here: Thanet.gov.uk/locations/3495
