After the Horror, What Needs to be Done? Discussion with Andrew Feinstein
As the genocide in Gaza intensifies beyond comprehension, with starvation being used openly as a weapon of war by Israel, the situation in Palestine has become unbearable. After 18 months of protests, the British state’s active support for Israel’s atrocities has hardly wavered. It can be easy to despair and to question whether we are making any real difference.
rs21 has invited Andrew Feinstein, Archie Woodrow (rs21) and (TBA) to lead a discussion on the next steps for the Palestine movement and how we can channel our feelings of despair towards achieving tangible change.
Andrew Feinstein is a former politician from South Africa, and an activist, filmmaker, campaigner and author, now based in Camden. He is a member of Stop the War’s steering committee, an active supporter of Palestine Action and of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the executive director of Shadow World Investigations, and he also serves on the board of Declassified UK.
Archie Woodrow is a member of rs21, an editor for the Marxist journal, Prometheus, a founding member of Camden Friends of Palestine, and a member of Camden Palestine Solidarity Campaign’s branch committee.
