Kevin Jay Marquez is a London based Filipino-British aspiring poet and creative.
As a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic and proud of his heritage, he crossed the country and border for love but it’s the heartbreak that started and ignited his passion for poetry.
His art is inspired by the raw and rebellious poetry by contemporary poets such as Lord Bryon and modern poets such as Sabrina Benaim, with themes of romance, sexuality and mental health that build the foundation of his poems.
His poems reflect the vulnerabilities and complexities of the human experience.
