Communal Clay & Molly Bonnell
A Clay and Glass Workshop
Together we will explore the vibrant Telegraph Hill park, and using ceramics and glass we will create ‘snapshots’ of nature to hang in our homes.
The session will last 2 hours.
Theses workshops will be more focused on the tactility of playing, practicing and learning sculpture techniques. There is no pressure to make a ‘finished product’ or ‘perfect piece’
At the end of the workshop if you wish to have your piece fired and glazed, we ask you pay an additional £10 to cover firing costs, glaze materials & transport of your work.
Any leftover clay at the end of the session will be recycled for future use, minimising wastage and keeping our workshops sustainable.

ACCESS INFO:
The workshop will be held at The Hill Station Cafe on Telegraph Hill. Weather permitting, the workshop will be held outdoors on the terrace which will have a mix of shaded and sunny seating.
The nearest stations are Brockley, Nunhead, and New Cross Gate. From New Cross Gate, there are a few buses that will take you up to the cafe.
Hill Station Cafe has step-free access to the terrace and inside the cafe. The cafe has a wheelchair accessible toilet but it is unfortunately up one step. A fully accessible and step-free toilet is available at the Telegraph Hill Centre above the cafe if necessary.
As part of the workshop we will be taking a short guided walk around Telegraph Hill Lower park, a 1 minute walk from the Cafe. The park has paved footpaths throughout and seating in some areas. We will be in the park for approximately 30 minutes looking at plants and collecting wax rubbings and fallen leaves, and participants will be invited to go at their own pace.
The cafe will be open during the workshop and sells a variety of food and drinks. Attached to the cafe is the pizza place Dinner for One Hundred, which will also be open.
