🌿 What is TRE?
TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a gentle, body-based practice that supports your nervous system in letting go of deep tension through natural tremors. Your body already knows how to do this — we're just creating space for it.
Many people find it helps with:
- Releasing stress and physical tension
- Reconnecting with the body and felt experience
- Supporting rest and emotional regulation
🌀 What’s a session like?
Each session includes:
- Grounding and settling
- Simple movements to activate the tremors
- A period of gentle, spontaneous shaking
- Time to rest, integrate, and reflect
We follow your body’s pace. You can pause, adjust, or stop at any time. With your consent, light touch may be offered to support grounding — always with full explanation and the option to decline.
👀 Is it for me?
These sessions are open to anyone feeling:
- Tense, tired, or wired
- Disconnected from their body
- Curious about somatic approaches to wellbeing
No experience needed. You don’t need to be flexible, spiritual, or ‘good at relaxing’. Each session stands on its own — you can come once or return regularly.
🙋 Who’s running this?
Hi, I’m Gianluca! 👋
I’ve been practising TRE since 2019 and was struck early on by how simple and powerful it is. I’m now training to become a Certified TRE Provider with TRE College. I’m also a qualified Personal Trainer and a trainee humanistic psychotherapist.
My approach is warm, grounded, and non-judgemental. I believe your body is always doing its best to protect or guide you — even when it feels stuck or overwhelmed.
🎒 What do I need?
- A mat is provided (feel free to bring your own)
- Wear comfortable clothes you can move and rest in
- You may want a bottle of water and a blanket or hoodie for the rest period
- Changing space is available
🤝 What’s the cost?
Sessions are offered at £15, which helps cover venue costs while I complete my training. If that’s not doable right now, please get in touch — no one will be turned away for financial reasons.
