F. Zeeshan Choudhury is joined by Tagore's Salon for a gentle midsummer’s night session of reading, talking and crafting. Together we’ll explore some simple writing and poetry that explores nature in Islamic thought and talk about how it might help us in our own struggles against injustice.
We'll then use our thinking in a woodblock printing and stitching session, where we’ll make a pride banner for Hidayah, an organisation that provides support for LGBTQ+ Muslims. We will decorate the Made in Exile gallery space with the banner at sunset. You may make prints to take home as well.
Ticket prices are to ensure attendance. All proceeds go to Hidayah.
