A Life Of Thier Own: A Free Queer Oral History Workshop
Join us for a cosy, creative workshop exploring location, identity, and connection to space through a queer lens. Together, we’ll wander through queer poetry and audio histories, letting them spark reflections on our own experiences - the loud, the quiet, the messy, and the magical.
You’ll have the chance to curate and share your own oral history, help craft a collective poem, and contribute to a growing archive of queer voices rooted in memory and place.
No experience needed - just a willingness to share, or simply listen. Whether you’re a seasoned storyteller or a silent observer, there’s space for you here.
✨ A one-hour session of storytelling, collective reflection, and queer connection
✨ Free for all!
✨ Open to LGBTQ+ people
Come for the poetry and stay for the stories!
These workshops are led by students from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, currently undertaking placements with us.
