Bounce Back is a 45-minute workshop for LGBTQ+ people navigating the
emotional weight of social and political shifts — from the rollback of DEI
efforts to changes in how gender is defined. Instead of focusing on ‘staying
strong’ in isolation, this session invites us to think about how we can bounce
back by leaning into each other and reconnecting with what matters most.
We will use a simple and powerful tool called Above and Below the Line to
help us notice when we are in survival mode — shut down, reactive, or
disconnected — and explore what helps us return to a more grounded, open,
and connected state. Along the way, we will challenge the myth of solo
resilience and introduce the idea of co-resilience: that we recover better
when we do it together.
Expect a mix of honest reflection, light participation, and practical
takeaways you can use in your daily life. This is not about fixing yourself — it
is about finding steadiness, strength, and solidarity in uncertain times.
Whether you are running on full power or feeling flat, there’s space for you in
this conversation.
