MY GREEK DRAGEDY is a one-queen odyssey through dance, drama, and diaspora: where Oedipus meets drag cabaret.
Fresh from her win at Drag Idol UK Heat 2 at Walthamstow Trades Hall, Cyprus-born and Walthamstow-based drag performer Iris Glamorous returns with her most ambitious show yet.
Sharing the spotlight is special guest Yiannizs - Cypriot born artist and musician - for a night where Greek and Cypriot culture blends with modern camp and drag fabulousness.
With live music, comedy and unforgettable numbers (for better or for worse) this playful cabaret blends folkloric flair with high camp shenanigans. It’s a celebration of queer identity and cultural expression, packed with rhythm, humour, and just the right amount of chaos. Expect stories of transformation, migration and fabulous defiance, all performed in high heels.
