Orlando, My Political Biography
📅 Wednesday 25 June 2025🕖 7pm📍 UCL East – One Pool Street
Spectra is back with this summer and this time, we’re fundraising in solidarity with Trans+ On Screen.
Join us for Paul B. Preciado’s Orlando, My Political Biography – a dazzling, defiant documentary that reimagines Virginia Woolf’s iconic novel through the lived experiences of trans and non-binary people today. Part film essay, part collective portrait, it’s a celebration of identity, imagination, and resistance.
This screening is free and open to all but we’re encouraging donations to the Trans On Screen GoFundMe. Trans+ On Screen is a directory representing over 300 trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming professionals in film and TV, now urgently fundraising to sustain vital support, advocacy, and employment opportunities amid growing political and industry pressures.
Age restriction: 18
