STICK IT to the EHRC!
Allies needed & trans* people welcomed at a FREE evening social upstairs @ The Divine to fill in the public EHRC (Equality and Human Rights Commission) public consultation survey, where our voices can be heard and we can stick it to the new proposed changes!
A resource pack & facilitators will be provided for the evening to help us all understand and fill out the form.
Please bring your laptop and/or your smart phone.
The current deadline is the 30th June however ‘more than 20 leading charities and service providers have urged the equalities watchdog to extend a consultation’. You can read more here.

Sadly, The Divine is currently not fully accessible.
The Ground floor bar is at street level and there are no steps to enter and the main door is wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs. The pavement outside The Divine is wide and spacious enough for drop offs and pick-ups.
There are no toilets on the ground floor, they are all on the lower level. The nearest wheelchair accessible toilet is at Nandos, approximately 2 minutes down the road at 148 Kingsland High Street. Nandos closes at 10pm Sunday – Thursday and 11pm at the weekend.
There are 2 sets of gender-neutral toilets on the lower level; one has 5 cubicles and the other has 3 urinals and 1 cubicle. Currently none are wheelchair accessible.
