A three day summer event from the Sarah Parker Remond Centre for the Study of Racism and Racialisation
9th to 11th July, 1.30pm to 5.45pm, UCL Bloomsbury Campus
As we witness another phase of remaking the world through extreme violence, it can be hard to process the events unfolding before our eyes. What should we be trying to learn and to what ends? What approaches to learning can help us grasp the world as it is? What consolation can we take from seeking to learn together? This three day series offers an opportunity to reflect on what and how we know and what we do with what we learn together.
The three days are organised around the themes of:
- Exhaustion
- Renewal
- Redemption
Each day will include panel reflections on key questions, expert insights into recent events or debates and a skill-sharing activity.
