Come and have a relaxing Sunday with a stroll around the gorgeous Winterbourne house and gardens. Feeling inspired by the beauty? Pick up a pencil and draw some of the gorgeous plants!
All the usual drawing supplies will be available for you to borrow and take with you on your explore around the house and gardens. Collect from and return these to Harriet throughout the day.
Tickets are £10 or pay what you can no questions asked.
Also if you are able to, all donations are greatly appreciated. All money raised goes back into queer draw brum itself, for supplies, hiring cool models and workshop facilitators and keeping our sessions accessible and affordable for all.
Carers are free to bring as always, please e-mail or message on outsavvy or insta to get them added to the guest list.
Your ticket grants you access to the house and gardens until they close at 5pm, you are free to stay as long or as short as you like until then. Your walk and drawing around the gardens will be self directed but Harriet will be on site should you need any help or would like some drawing prompts etc.
Happy exploring 🪻and drawing ✍️

Accessibility info from the Winterbourne website:
House and Garden
As we are over 100 years old, we do have some features which make getting around more challenging for visitors with mobility issues but have done what we can to make the site as accessible as possible.
The first floor of the house can be reached via a platform lift. . Some of the rooms feature quite narrow doors so any visitors with larger sized wheelchairs should check our detailed access statement (below) for further information.
Many of the garden paths are wheelchair friendly but there are uneven areas across the whole site and care must be taken. Paths run throughout most of the garden but full access to all areas is unfortunately not possible for wheelchair users.
Due to size and space issues, visitors with mobility issues may find it difficult to navigate our tea room seating area. During the summer, more space can be found on our tea room terrace.
Facilities
The easy access toilet is situated near the front door. We usually have two mobility scooters and one manual wheelchair available for use by the public. These are available on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved. There is no charge for their use.
Carers
Carers accompanying those with disabilities enjoy free admission to Winterbourne.
