MASSAGE MARATHON: Radical Bodywork Scotland will be raising funds for Camp Trans Scotland by offering bodywork sessions all day on Saturday 5th July.
Would you like your massage to help trans people have a much needed and lovely time in nature?
Generously hosted by Studio 70 in their gorgeous therapy room, ALL proceeds from the MASSAGE MARATHON will go to support Camp Trans happening for the second time in the Scottish highlands this summer. We have practitioners offering; cupping, myofascial release therapy, holistic massage and one-on-one yoga.
The cost of the sessions are sliding scale from £45 up to whatever you can pay. Each ticket is sold with a particular practitioner and time slot. If you'd like to buy a massage for someone who cannot afford it (pay it forward!) please book a slot and let us know via email that's what you've done and we will make it available to a trans person in need of bodywork.
You can learn a bit about Radical Bodywork Scotland and the practitioners involved in the MASSAGE MARATHON below. If you would like to know more please write to us at radicalbodyworkscotland@proton.me.
Studio 70 is accessed by approximately 12 steps. The therapy room is directly at the top of the stairs. The practitioners will have masks available to wear and the room will be ventilated using a HEPA filter. More information about Studio 70 available on their website: https://www.studio70glasgow.com/
Please come wearing loose clothing and arrive as close to your appointment time as possible - someone will let you in from street level!

Radical Bodywork Scotland are a group of bodyworkers who understand embodied practise to be a political tool and an integral part of radical social change. They meet to exchange and create events and offerings for tending our collective health. The bodyworkers involved will be:
Zinzi Buchanan (they/them) is a bodyworker trained in myofascial release and cupping therapy and will soon be a fully qualified TCM practitioner.
Clay Dresser (they/them) is offering trauma informed holistic massage and myofascial release. They are a bodyworker and somatic therapist.
Ise Gross (they/them) works as somatic counsellor and is trained in holistic massage therapies and myofascial release. They will be offering myofascial release sessions.
Holly White (they/she) is a somatic therapist and will be offering trauma-informed myofascial release for limbs and neck. Clients can remain fully clothed for these sessions but will need clothes they can move easily.
Nuria Lopez (they/them) is a queer yoga teacher and politicised somatics facilitator based in Edinburgh. For this occasion, Nuria will be offering one-on-one yoga sessions including gentle sequence flows and restorative stretches.
