Oliver Hubbard
I had a 20-year apparel and fashion career in product marketing and brand licensing with companies such as Nike, adidas, New Era and Disney, among others. During this time, I lived and worked in Holland and Germany for 13 years before returning to the UK in 2009 to live in London.
In 2018, I left the corporate world, and became an independent brand consultant, small business mentor and a part-time lecturer for London South Bank University on brands and branding for 5 years.
Long-held plans were put into action in late 2023 and I moved from London to rural Scotland, both Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible, and qualified as a business and life coach with internationally acclaimed Barefoot Coaching. As an accredited ICF coach, I work mainly with people from the creative side of life, freelancers and small business owners, helping them move toward the futures they want.
As a proud gay man, I’m keen to help and support other members of the LGBTQIA+ communities in their personal and professional development journeys

For the past 20 years I’ve worked across the creative industries as a performer, academic, and curator. I launched three successful international curatorial platforms: I’m With You (2009), Haus of Husbands (2010) and Queer Extension (2021) and was a curating producer at Ace Hotel International (London) alongside promoting nightlife and queer cultural events for a range of institutional partners.
In 2020, alongside so many other creatives, I decided to diversify my capacity, and support the arts ecology through coaching. As a certified personal trainer, I support clients with their physical fitness and nutritional goals and teach a range of classes in support of my clients fitness journeys. Between 2021 to 2023, I certified as a Group Coach (Barefoot Coaching) and Executive & Business Coach (Become Coaching) and am accredited by the International Federation of Coaching.
My passion is helping people to think creatively about the opportunities and challenges that their life and career enable. As a queer disabled migrant with over 20 years in academia (USA & UK) and the arts in the roles of internationally celebrated performer and curator and seasoned executive. I have a unique perspective that enables me to meet your needs at scale.
