REJECTION - 1/7 Queer Zine Dating Workshop Series
Rejection is an ESSENTIAL part of dating
Unless you happen to meet the love of your life on your first ever date, rejection will be involved, and so it's important for us to get comfortable with it if we are to have a good time meeting new people and navigating romance.
In this session we use a combination of guided group conversation, rejection exercises and crafting to unpack the drama that is held in rejection, understand the value it holds in dating and feel better about giving and receiving a rejection.
I will provide all the materials you need to take notes and make your zine during the session; there will be pens, pencils, paper, glue, tape and loads of collage materials - feel free to bring along anything else you like :)
The workshop is in a private meeting room in the Albany in Deptford:
I am Kim (they/them) a queer matchmaker and event organizer with 5 years of experience helping LGBTQIA+ folks with dating. I've run this workshop series 11 times before but this is the first time it won't be a continuous group attending all the classes - so bear with any teething pains with this change.
