Inspired by Pits and Perverts, From the Pit will be raising money for local left campaigns with the help of local musicians and campaingers. The night will promise speakers and poets on the left, followed by music. The stalls in the venue aim to give punters the possibility to see what we've been campaigning for and engage with local activists. A book stall and raffle prizes will be provided by Manifesto Press Coop, who publish books that challenge the System. Manifesto press are expanding their horizons to build alternatives—online blog and vlogs, audio and digital editions and podcasts.
