ACCESS
Avalon Cafe has one short step up to the entrance and no steps inside the venue. There are unfortunately no wheelchair-accessible toilets inside the venue. There are two gender neutral cubicle toilets and separate urinals. There is seating available, and free parking on Mercury Way, as well as 3 parking spaces at the venue.
Bledi is The Queer SWANA Art Space, a dedicated collective and night out centring QTIBPOC (Queer, Trans/Non-Binary, and/or Intersex, Black people and People of Colour) from the SWANA region (*South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as 'the Middle East'). Bledi (Arabic for ‘My Homeland’) has created a space for SWANA Queers to celebrate our lives and showcase our talents, as underrepresented artists of typically marginalised backgrounds.
