The Scent of Connection is thrilled to welcome you to our scent based dating event in collaboration with Teaspoon Collective at Filet Space in Hoxton.
The Scent of Connection is a scent based dating platform that is focused on re-imagining the way people connect by exploring sensory experiences beyond sight.
This event is for singles age 21+ of all sexualities and genders.
Expect an intimate evening of mingling, free drinks alongside art from Teaspoon Projects exhibition Look at the Lights, My Love.
Participatory tickets are onsale until the 1st of September, to allow apt time for postage so make sure to buy your tickets in advance! Mingling tickets will be available up until the event date and on the door subject to availability.
Look at the Lights, My Love is the third exhibition from Teaspoon Projects, a curatorial initiative founded by Gigi Surel in 2025 and dedicated to contemporary storytelling across media. The project supports emerging voices through pop-up exhibitions and collaborative programming.
This exhibition draws on the oeuvre of Annie Ernaux – the Nobel laureate renowned for her spare, incisive explorations of memory, class, and the passage of time.
Ticket Types:
- Participatory ticket which means you will be posted a scent collection kit, allowing your scent to be part of the computational (more info below) board and also for you to interact with other scents in the board and mingle during the event.
- Mingling ticket which allows you to interact with the scents in the board and mingle during the event but your smell will not be part of the computational board.
All tickets include free drinks all night.
How the participatory ticket works:
- You buy a ticket, then complete your compatibility & preferences form.
- We send you a scent collection kit in the post (price included in ticket).
- You add to the sample your sweat, perfumes & toiletries to create your own unique scent. Make sure to bring this along on the night!
- On arrival (promptly at 5pm), we'll add your scent into our board and you & your signature scent will be assigned a number.
- When using the board, if people are interested in your scent they will be able to leave their contact details for you and/or interact with you at the event.
