LESLIE BLOOM

There's no one quite like Leslie. She's a pillar of the community in her adopted home Village of Toddlingham, located somewhere on the Sussex/Surrey borders. Outsiders can rarely pinpoint it; it's almost seems like it's a floating court. Leslie is a fitness instructor, she leads classes based in the village hall and jaunts jumping street furniture with her over-65s group. They're an eager bunch, if not so athletically inclined. In her spare time, Leslie reads tarot, is the founder of the village mucky book club and occasionally house sits for the stars. She has a fascinating and somewhat lurid past but a heart of gold. If Leslie takes you under her wing, you'll never feel lonely or desperate again. Leslie Bloom is a force of nature, a force for good, but heaven help you if you get on her bad side. Luckily for everyone else, there's only one person in Leslie's bad books that her son's Craig, deadbeat dad, the Shakespearean actor and director, Kenneth Branagh.
