THREE WORDS FOR FOREST – SCREENING AND Q&A
How are trees, woodlands and forests adapting to climate change—and what are our roles in this? How do we live and work with trees - and how might we in the future?
Join us for a screening of Three Words for Forest, a powerful new verbatim play created as part of newLEAF, (a Future of UK Treescapes project) by Rachel Clive and Dee Heddon at the University of Glasgow. The piece draws on the words and experiences of over 30 forestry practitioners, scientists and policy-makers to share deep insights and ask urgent questions about our changing relationships with forests.
Performed by Tam Dean Burn, Charlotte Driessler and Helen Cuinn, with an original music score created and performed by Simone Seales, the play invites us to listen deeply, reflect collectively, and imagine new ways of co-existing with the more-than-human world.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with members of the creative team.
Duration: 1hr 10 mins for film, 45 mins for discussion.
