What is a Sound Bath?!
Good Question! In a sound bath, sound is used as a tool to hold & guide you into a deep state of rest & listening. The instruments used have a powerful vibrational quality to them, which can guide your brain waves into the same state as they enter in deep meditation (but you don't have to do anything!). We'll do a little stretch, some calming breath work & then create our little rest nests to snug into for the session (bolsters & blankets galore). Sarah will be using, a symphonic gong, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, shruti box & chimes.
What We Have Planned
2pm | Arrivals, welcomes & journalling
2.10pm | A gentle stretch & breath work
2.15pm | Settling into Sound
2.20pm | Sound Bath
3pm | Landing & easing back
3:05pm | Time for tea & community!
3.30pm | Farewells
What To Bring
Bring warm cosy layers that you can easily add or take off! It can be tricky to rest when you are not comfortable - wear clothing that has textures you enjoy, and something warm to wrap up in! Our temperature drops when we rest, so it's good to make sure you stay snug!
The space provides bolsters, blankets & eye pillows, but if you have your own eye covering or blanket that you love bring it along! Feel free to bring anything else that will make the experience more comfortable for you – snacks, journal, stim or comfort items etc.

Contradictions
A sound bath may not be suitable for you if you are pregnant, have any metal plates in the body, have a heart condition, struggle with sound sensitivity. Rest practices & sound can also trigger emotional responses, so are to be taken with responsibility & causion, especially for those with mental health conditions. For any questions, feel free to contact Sarah directly at sarah@flowrogue.com.
About Our Ticket Fees
For all our offerings we have a tiered suggestion of donations. Supporter Rate (cost of you and another), Sustainer Rate (base cost/just you), Community Rate and Pay What You Can.
