Join award-winning author Karen McLeod for an inspiring, interactive Masterclass that dives into the art of writing from life.
Together we will explore how to delve into long-lost material, then hone in on an idea for writing a short story or piece of prose. Through a dynamic mix of writing exercises and thought-provoking tips, you’ll experiment with finding your unique perspective in order to work on your most interesting ideas.
We will also unpack what it means to write from a personal perspective, and how important this is when the world feels overwhelming with so much misinformation and uncertainty.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a short story and will be equipped with new tools, to start a deeper connection with your past as a writer. Whatever your background and previous experience, this course is designed to suit all.
