To Hell and Bach
The Masterworkers believe that no one should have to be overdressed, uncomfortably seated, or even sober to enjoy classical music performed at the highest level.
Masterworkers ensemble brings together musicians from London’s finest orchestras, including the English National Opera, the BBC Symphony and Concert Orchestras and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and this spooktacular Halloween special features Tartini's virtuosic 'Devil's Trill' Sonata, the dancing skeletons of Saint-Saëns 'Danse Macabre, the duelling violas of Bach's last Brandenburg Concerto and a selection of popular and crossover pieces ranging from Gluck to Charlie Daniels, introduced with tongue-in-cheek wit, tortuous titles and painful puns aplenty.
At our first appearance at Chats Palace, we look forward to introducing you to some of our favourite spectral music and welcoming you to a relaxed and socially integrated afternoon out where everyone is welcome regardless of age, dress, (though Halloween outfits will be welcomed!) sexual orientation or gender identity. The bar will be open from 6pm until 11pm.
