Then come along to Drag Down the Borders! It’s happened, sellout show Drag Down the Borders is in Liverpool on Sunday 9th November, 7,30pm at District! We will have a phenomenal line up of drag, cabaret and burlesque legends from Liverpool and London. They will be singing, dancing, and lip syncing for your entertainment, raising funds in solidarity with migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in Liverpool,Palestine, Sudan, and Congo. Our tickets are at different prices to try and accommodate everyone. Please pay the price you can genuinely afford as it is a fundraising event, and so the system works for us all! Money shouldn’t be a barrier to attending so if you need a free ticket, please email dragdowntheborders@gmail.com
COVID
Covid isn't over and we need to keep each other safe. We ask everyone who attends to test before attending. If you have Covid/cold/flu symptoms, please don't attend. Community care starts with us, wear a mask. Masks, tests, and hand sanitiser will be available on the door.
ACCESS
The Jordan Street entrance has two steps up into the main venue. There is a flat wheelchair accessible entrance into the venue via YARD on New Bird Street so on arrival please talk to a doorman and a member of the venue team will escort you through.
Once inside the venue everything is all on one level and without steps.
There is a disabled toilet close to the Jordan Street entrance. The YARD/outdoor space is wheelchair accessible .
Street parking is always readily available all around the venue at weekends and evenings.
Throughout the show there will be loud music and flashing lights, there will be trigger warnings. The show won't be captioned or signed, sorry.
